Specific Need

Delivering Change's goal for Geary Community Match Day is to raise money for the ongoing services and programs that Delivering Change offers to prenatal and postpartum mom, fathers, infants and families in the Geary County Community. Each year Delivreing Change provides services to over 350 pregnant and postpartum women and their families, connecting families with resources and services and providing education to better support the health of themselves, their infants and families, therefore impacting the overall health of our community.

Funds will be used to support ongoing scholarship opportunities. Delivering Change offers scholarship opportunities to women in our area in the form of Perinatal Mental Health Scholarships and Prenatal Care Scholarships. The Perinatal Mental Health Scholarship helps women access high quality mental health services, before, during and after pregnancy, without the worry of costs. We understand that mental health has a large impact on families and the access to quality and affordable mental health servies in our area is limited. The Prenatal Care Scholarship assists women who are in-eligiable for insurnace access prenatal care, ensuring their health and the health of their child.
