Specific Need

This year the Geary County Senior Citizens Inc. Match Day goal is to purchase a new 10 passenger van!

        We utilize our vans daily to provide low to no cost transportation to the senior citizens of Junction City & Grandview Plaza. This includes picking people up and bringing them to the center for activities & lunch, taking patrons to doctors appointments, run errands, go shopping and our vans assist delivering Meals on Wheels. Not to mention our occasional local fieldtrips that have gained a lot of popularity.

Our current vans have surpassed their life expectancy and are more expensive to maintain than they are worth. If we do not replace our vans soon, we may be forced to decrease the availability of our transportation services. This is why this Match Day 2024 is so crucial to our organization!
