Funds raised at the Geary Community Match Day will go towards the purchase of a wireless fetal monitoring system for The Birthplace at Stormont Vail's Flint Hills Campus in Junction City.

Wireless fetal monitoring can enhance the experience for the laboring mom without sacrificing essential vitals information needed by the clinician. It allows moms - including those carrying twins and triplets - to move freely during labor and offers them flexible birthing options. This is especially important for mothers who want an unmedicated labor, as well as for those who require high-risk medication. And without cable clutter to deal with, clinicians can concentrate on making patients’ time in the hospital as enjoyable as possible.

Each year, some 400 babies are born at Stormont Vail's Flint Hills Campus. Your gift gives our moms and babies the best start in life!
