The Geary Community Schools Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization committed to supporting opportunities in USD 475 where taxpayer dollars can't be used and the opportunities enhance academic and personal success of students and educators in Geary County, Kansas public schools.
Profile
We provide opportunites for education-related grants for classrooms and schools, scholarships for Junction City High School graduates, scholarships for continuing education for our teachers and para educators, for minorites through our Supporting A Diverse Staff: Loans For Aspiring Educators, recognition for honors and awards that our schools recieve on a national level, and the Celebration of Teaching Banquet at the end of each year, with the funds being raised specifically for this event. We support other educational opportunities as they arise and as funds are available.
