Profile
The oldest Lutheran Missouri Synod (LCMS) church west of the Mississippi. The congregation was formed in 1861 using a log cabin and that cabin is part of the Geary County Historical Society and it now sits at the corner of Spring Valley Road and Highway 18. We have been supporting efforts in Geary County and surrounding areas for many years. our service areas have included the Geary County Crisis Center, Geary County Food Pantry, Wamego Food Bank, we have partnered with Women of the Chapel on Fort Riley supplying school supplies to miliary families, participated in the Samaritan Purse Christmas Program, and provided buckets of cleaning items for disaster relief. Our community outreach has included Junction City Business Showcase, Praise Fest, and Fort Riley Apple Days.
Our service time is Sundays at11:00am We hold adult Bible Study at 10:00am.
