Our need is based on keeping our historic building in good repair; to remain a light house on the corner of 7th and Jefferson Streets as our neon sign says, "Jesus Saves," and to provide for missions and missionaries across the world.Mission

First Baptist Church was established in 1865. We are one of the oldest churches in Junction City. We have been the home for local residents and Fort Riley soldiers and families
Sunday Morning Worship Services are at 11 am; Sunday Bible Study is at 6 pm and Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study is at 1 pm.
Our beloved, Harrison Chapel built in 1967, The building is named after Retired Lt. General William Harrison. Harrison attended First Baptist when he was a commander at Fort Riley.
- He occasionally served as a fill-in pastor.
- He was the head of the United Nations Command Armistice Delegations in the Korean War.
- He was one of the only Americans to sign the Truce Agreement.
