Specific Need

Junction City First United Methodist Church is a snapshot of our mid-western community. Long-time Junction City and Geary County residents worship, serve and grow alongside Fort Riley military families in a beautiful, historic church building located in the heart of town. Our Mission Statement, “To love God with all our hearts, to love all others, and to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ,” is more than just words. We have an Emergency Food Pantry open Mondays and Wednesdays due to the food insecurities within the county. We provide a community Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Trunk or Treat event every year. We participate in Chamber of Commerce and Main Street community events and donate to multiple missions through the year, including the UMCOR disaster relief missions. With a growing youth and young adult program we strive to help those seeking God find Him.

Donations will go to these, and other programs, geared to promote God and His kingdom through actions rather than just words. Members of the church thank you for your consideration in helping our goals today, tomorrow and forever.
